I don't know what I expected from these unique and innovative scissors, but I bought them on the spur of the moment and I don't regret it for a second. Now they are hanging on my wall but I can easily wear them around my neck and not worry. They're heavy, made from a single piece of medallion, and somehow the scissors on the necklace seem to click, which was a pleasant surprise. Yes, it's not a one-handed grab and slap like a sword around the waist, but it's scissors, not a sword. They're as sharp as a sword, but I'd rather they felt secure around my neck and take two hands to disengage and replace. The last thing I need is my impulse to buy a pair of necklace scissors that fall out and dig into my leg as they fall. Or not to mention my cat! When I wear them they feel secure and look great on the wall. And they are damn neat! I love them, they are worth every penny. Okay, I originally bought these for a new craft in my life, embroidery, and they're great for that, but my set came with scissors, so I'd say it was a total impulse buy, haha who doesn't need that a pair of scissors 🤷‍♀️
