This color is POWERFUL! If you are new to direct dyes and unnatural colors, please do your research before delving into them. It's hardly fair to complain about stains. He must do that. It will color your hair and everything. It is very likely to permanently color your hair. I don't recommend using these colors if you're hoping for a temporary thing. There are less efficient ways to do that! However, if you use them, you can make your life easier by squeezing the paint into a separate bowl. You can save what you don't use to touch up later, and it's MUCH easier to apply from a bowl. Also, you can always mix direct dyes with white conditioner if you want a lighter shade. It suits them well because they are FULL! I've been using Midnight Ruby for a few years now and it's a really great color that blends well. I've used it on my level 5 natural brown hair and on my level 9 bleached hair. It works amazing on my natural hair! In any case, you must understand that applying a stain over a dark base can never reach the brightness of a bleached base. And if your hair is black/nearly black, it probably won't be visible at all, except maybe a little bit in the sun. Please research again if you are not very good with dyes! Finally, at least when it comes to Midnight Ruby. it will not work. It's so strong I can't even get it to turn pink. It does a great job with uneven lightening lol! But honestly, I can't recommend the midnight series to anyone who likes to change their color. However, if you tend to stick to a certain color, this is an incredibly long-lasting color!
