I can't remember the last time my wife used an iron but I use it all the time. When she went on a trip, I bought this ironing board cover to replace a tattered, burned piece of crap that was almost permanently stuck to an old ironing board we inherited from our in-laws about 30 years ago. And it was even older. After removing the old cover (imagine unwrapping a dry, dusty mummy), I slipped into this new cover and was delighted to see how perfectly it stretched out on a still working ironing board. close fitting, not a single crease - and fastened very securely at the edges. The extra velcro straps on the bottom were a nice touch too. So far it has worked fine. No problems and everything and the price made it great value. I bought plain silver. If you need a new ironing board cover I can't think of a better way to do it.
