Review on AMD Ryzen 3900X 24 Thread Processor by Michal Machnicki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

For overclocking, you should take a more powerful cooler and provide a good airflow through the case. But this is no longer about the BOX version. The backlight is better configured when connected via USB on the motherboard. Through the RGB connector, you can only change the illumination of the impeller (at least from the msi motherboard). But through USB and a special application, the illumination of the impeller, the rings around it and the AMD inscriptions change, and all this separately.

Pros
  • 12 cores 24 threads. Powerful. Frequencies, support for PCI-Express 4.0 (for the future). A beautiful backlit cooler, quite large, not like the bundled Intel coolers. Out of the box with thermal paste.
Cons
  • Mounting the cooler is not very convenient. Heats up nicely. In Assassin's Creed Odyssey up to 85 degrees. Not critical, but could be better. At the same time, there are 3 turntables 140 mm in the case: two for blowing in, one for blowing out. The cooler blows air in all directions, blows the memory, motherboard radiators, video card, ssd m.2.
