I purchased the Sunbeam Heated Velvet Plush Blanket (Large) and received it on the 18th February for use in a new home that was nearing completion. Due to weather related construction delays and COVID related accommodation delays, we first used the blanket on Tuesday 23rd March 2021. During the night the circuit breaker in our bedroom went off 5 times. The next day we called an electrician and he couldn't find a wiring problem. We tried the blanket again on March 24th and within minutes it was working again. I contacted the owner/carrier and respectfully requested a week delay due to COVID but my request was never answered. Now it seems I'm stuck with a defective ceiling that actually poses a serious safety hazard. In difficult times like these, I expected a little sympathy from the owner/carrier. It's not that I want to go back because I don't like the color; The damn thing is a real fire hazard.
