After reading all the hype I bought one. The sound is good for a speaker of this size, everything fits easily in the palm of your hand. It's better than my Pixel phone's speaker and louder too. The controls are pleasant, wish they were all metal, like the volume knob - excellent - very nice. The instructions are tiny but easy to understand. with microUSB (thankfully) - no matter how dated it may sound - I have dozens of cables for microUSB around the house. And did I mention the very nice volume control. sounds good. I would have preferred it in a less lavish box. Update 6 months later: I still like it. Use it every day. I'm the most cynical buyer so I doubted it would sound great but it is. Well made, great design (mine's green, but I'm going gray too), decent metal construction, and all the features you could ask for and nothing more. In case anyone is wondering, the morse code at launch is XOV.
