I just received my shirt and I love wearing it. The medium fits me like a skin. It's not super soft, but I'd call it cozy. I can tell you that under these clothes there are no drafts and they don't cool me, because they are so tight that the air has nowhere to get in! The sleeves are long enough for me, a tall woman with long legs, just because of the thumb holes, which add just enough fabric for the end of the sleeve to touch my wrist (so I would never use the thumb holes for their intended purpose). The box says "electric orange," not "shocking orange," but the color isn't for the timid anyway — it's a bright orange road cone. Love the length, 26 inches back to bottom. The sizing chart on the box is slightly different than the Duofold sizing chart here on the product page and may partially explain why so many reviewers seem to have gotten a shirt that's too small. 4-6) 33-34" M (8-10) 35-36" L (12-14) 37-39" XL (16) 40- 41" When in doubt, get one choose a larger number. The whole "optimal stretch" thing is fiction (if this shirt is optimally stretched, I wouldn't want to see one with minimal stretch). This assumes you are *already* in good shape before you start exercising. I chose M because it felt right based on online charts and because it was the best price at the time, it's such a fabric EDIT May 2017: I've worn this shirt several times since I wrote the review, and I'm back to call the star and tell you why you're already starting to sign up. It's hooked, but oddly the two main hooks are *inside* (but also visible from the outside) and I have no idea how it happened. In addition, one of the side seams visible from the outside is pulled up. I would buy again, but only if it's cheap.
