I bought two of these to replace two different old Asus 15 inch models (one with USB-C and one with DisplayPort over USB) and neither had dead pixels. The magnets are very strong and even allow storage on a filing cabinet or fridge. A rear mount can also be useful, except it doesn't make the device as flat, so you have to be careful with other screens or laptops in your bag. Being able to use HDMI or USB-C is great. I wish it was a little easier to turn them off. If they just do a touchscreen now, maybe next year.
