We have three Winix air purifiers (large units) so I know this is a reliable product and the reason for my purchase. Easy to assemble and works great. We have steam heating in our apartment building, the air ducts have never been cleaned in sixty years, hence the Winix air purifiers. But forced steam heat is like gas heat; it really dries out your sinuses; So I bought this product. My unit sits on my nightstand about 18 inches from my bed and right now it's on at about 3/4 full setting. My dry sinus problem is gone! No lies or paid for false reviews; just an honest senior to tell you this product works great. (Cons: It's hard to see the adjustment line on the dial, and the light is a finger-sensitive switch.) Use distilled water to keep it great, NOT tap water. I use about 1.5 gallons a week ($1.50 for distilled water). My son has a gas stove in the house and now they have one too. There are many options and prices but I trust this Revain brand! 5 stars plus product
