Our 6.5kg cat has more than enough space to get comfortable and see everything while we tug her lazy bottom. She walks with us normally for a while, then she sits down, looks at us with wide eyes and smiles. She won't move if she thinks her little ones are tired. This backpack is exactly what she wanted. She purrs happily as we open the hatch and she jumps in and sits, taking the form of her best princess being carried by the slave girls. The shoulder straps are well padded, but the chest and waist straps run a little small (unless you're small). Freddie is petite at 1.5m (5ft 5in) and says the backpack is comfortable. Not sure how comfortable it will be after a mile or so of walking with a 6.5 furry cotton ball inside, but I'm pretty sure I'll find out.
