I work in a printing shop and my job involves working with paper all day. Sometimes she flips through thousands of sheets to create smaller books, and other times she takes up large amounts of paper for various other reasons. So my fingers and wrists train every day! My pain tends to be sporadic and intermittent, but after wearing these gloves I've noticed a decrease in frequency and intensity. I was concerned the gloves would be bulky and interfere with my paper handling. To my delight they fit snugly and have little bulk, but then again everyone is different. My boss tried them but didn't last ten minutes and said she felt cramped. I have the small ones as my palm is about three inches wide and they fit well, snug enough to leave a small imprint of the glove's seams on my skin after removing them. The only thing that can cause problems is the underside of the gloves where the fingers are. The fabric doesn't have a finished edge like on the fingers, so it looks like it's going to fray a bit. I'm not sure how severe the wear and tear can be and I won't have a good comparison as the paper I'm working with will most likely tear my gloves anyway. For now I think I'll enjoy them.
