Used brand NEW

Bought a Mount-it MI-310B TV wall mount and received it today. When I first received the package today I was a bit confused because the box was really big and very heavy and I didn't expect the wall mount to be so big and heavy. But for me it wasn't a problem because for me it meant I just had a mysterious box with something big and cool. And my joy increased even more when I saw a big box with a big sticker saying a free HDMI cable was included, especially since the website didn't say anything. Now you are probably wondering why 3 stars. Well, for now I've given 3 stars for three reasons. 1. My supposedly brand new wall mount was pre-opened and used. You can see scratches around the mount and its swing arms. And amateur plywood boxes taped. The box says it comes with an HDMI cable. Of course I wasn't expecting this cable but I did and said I'm very happy now because it means I didn't have to buy a 4k cable for my new TV. But unfortunately there was no cable in the pre-opened box. So now I need to check if there are any other parts missing as I was sold a used item with items missing. 3. I haven't installed it yet, so I can't rate the product very well myself. But for now I can say that the arms and joints of the mount are very tight, making it very difficult to move the mount the way you want. Installation will also take some time as the mount itself weighs around 25 +/- pounds. And if you can't hold 25 pounds with one hand, you definitely need an assistant to help you install this TV mount. So those are my shortcomings and now some good points. Duty. It could probably be used as a pull up bar considering how heavy it is and can hold 175 lbs lol *The plate you bolt the swing arms/tv to is a solid piece too. This way you don't have to worry about extra measurements/alignment of the TV on the mount. * The TV can be easily tilted using the handles instead of a screwdriver or tool. * The studs (screws that hold the mount to the wall) are 3" long so they can be securely fastened to the wall and rack. * The TV mount barely exceeds 2 inches when fully closed. That means my TV will be about 5 inches from the wall. * The mount comes with a spirit level attached, so no more excuses for installing a crooked TV or losing an equalizer. Will update when I install the mount.
