Great shorts. I bought them for cycling but ended up wearing them all summer for daily hiking, cycling, walking and everyday wear. I wear them with suede bike shorts for riding and boxer shorts for everything else. As for riding, they were excellent. I'm 6ft 1in and the length is perfect. You don't get fixated on the saddle, whether it's training, mountain biking, or just cruising around town. They make it much easier to move back and forth in the saddle than regular cargo shorts. The four cargo zippers and their little connecting arms that sway as you walk make your legs look like a parody show, so I removed all but one. where I keep my money clip. The zippers can be easily operated with one hand. I love these shorts so much I bought three pairs if that's saying anything.
