It's really not what I would describe as soft and squishy, more like a bouncy stress ball. Anyone who has touched Squishmallow or other plush mochis can tell the difference. Suspicious are all those short 5 star reviews with the same "so soft very cute" comments. None of it feels like cotton as described. I was willing to sacrifice some softness if the material was actually cotton, but it fails either way. The pile of the fabric is smoothed, the feel is similar to children's toys that do not require special care, and not "high-density plush". Has potential considering the print quality is very good but heavily distorted.
