Weak shelves, not quite full size.

I really want to fall in love with her, but I can't. And unfortunately, once you poke giant holes in the walls and install them, it's not worth tearing them down to send back. First, they're not 24 inches long (they're 23 5/8 inches), but only 6.5 inches deep. Second, the dowels never "jump out" of the drywall, which allows the screws to rotate indefinitely. Finally, once on the wall, the shelves are still moving. I wouldn't put more than a few pounds on them (mine is over the toilet so they just hold the TP). I ended up having to add toggle bolts to feel secure.
