Our last silk comforter lasted many years, was thin and suitable for year round use in Phoenix, but unfortunately due to lumps in the corners and other issues it was time to buy a new one. I bought a Mommesilk All Season Mulberry Silk duvet as a replacement. It seems well made but is a little heavier/warmer than I expected. I think it would be ideal for colder climates. (If we don't turn off our air conditioner at night, there's no way we could use this blanket during the Phoenix summer months. However, this should be a good blanket for late fall and early spring, so if you're looking for a year-round blanket for a warmer climate similar to Phoenix, I would not recommend.
