The socket is too close and therefore inconvenient

Usefulness depends on what you connect. I was hoping to use it as a charging station in the corner of my kitchen. That's where I connect my Google radio. The 3 110V sockets are too close together to use them all at the same time (depending on the plug; the best ones "flicker" a bit to protect fingers from hot pencils). It uses a pin transformer that dangles and covers most USB ports. Therefore, often only two ports (out of 7) can be used at the same time. This is normal for cheap non-UL listed omnidirectional connectors. Chinese designers or manufacturers had to send prototypes to their American cousins to try at home. first before they make thousands of them; A few tweaks would make it a great product!
