Good, solid .sturdy tabletop stand.I wouldn't call it a travel tripod as it's relatively short. If anything it's very heavy for a table top but for me it's a plus as it adds stability and gives more confidence that an expensive camera less probably tipped over. At the moment the collar locks seem to work well and keep the legs in place. to keep them in place. Comes with a very lightly lined camo canvas pouch to protect in transit or when not in use. One star subtracted as the bubble levels are pretty much for looks only and quite a far cry when tested on a small carpenter level.i would add a star if i could get a replacement mounting plate/head with the bubble levels working properly. Update: Still a good little tripod with a ball head and leg rings that lock the position securely. I would probably deduct 1/2 star for the level issue if it were resolved. I love it so much I'm buying a second one so I can set it up all the time for certain static uses where I don't have to spend time adjusting my legs and head every time. In the meantime, unless I'm lucky enough to get a good working bubble level this time, I guess I'll have to keep everything even.
