This backpack is so cool! I bought it to walk around Walt Disney World. The main reason I bought it was because there was a cool box right inside the backpack. I can easily fit in a freezer bag, two cans of soda and a bottle of water and they stay cool all day! I also like the padded laptop sleeve; Ideal for organizing and protecting your laptop. Will definitely use it on the plane. All pockets are great for organization. The sunglass section was a nice bonus - didn't realize it was there until I used the bag. I already brought my sunglasses in their normal case but decided to leave the case at home next time I find it! Because it's covered in a soft, protective, velvety material, it's also a good place to store your phone, and it sits on top of your pocket so nothing crushes it, and it's perfect for easy access. The side pockets are good for extra water bottles or an umbrella. It is also very comfortable for me to walk all day. The straps are soft and yes, as some other users have mentioned, they're stiff, but that's GOOD as it distributes the weight better across the shoulders so the straps don't cut into the skin in one spot. This is the perfect bag for a heavy person to carry for hours. The chest clip further dissipates the weight. I wish I had had this backpack in high school as carrying heavy textbooks has made me constantly tend to lean forward when walking to balance my weight. With a chest strap I can stand up straight and don't feel like the heaviness is causing me to tip back as it shifts your center of gravity closer to where it naturally should be.
