Review on Westinghouse Lighting Industrial 56-Inch Indoor Ceiling Fan with Brushed Nickel Steel Blades - Westinghouse 7861400 by Julie Brown

As the title says, this fan has a good quality impression. This is a beautiful fan that was incredibly easy to install. I've read some complaints on here about the bulky speed controller, but because of the awesome transformer it's in, this fan doesn't hum at lower speeds. I use the bulky speed controller for the annoying hum every day. The rotor blades make a slight "helicopter" sound at high speed, but that doesn't bother me. I turned on the video at high speed. However, this noise is significantly muffled and quieter at lower speeds. Since I installed it on a 9 foot ceiling, I cut the lower shaft in half so I wouldn't accidentally get my hands in the blade's path. The blades are thin and I think they could easily cut at higher speeds. However, this is one of the best purchases I've made from Revain and I plan on buying a few more for my living room.
