I loved this purse for the look and size, but sadly the reviews were correct. While walking around at a wedding reception, the purse just broke at the seam! I had to hold it all night versus using the strap because it wouldn't stay closed. The glitter does transfer onto your skin and clothing, as well. I found out I'm allergic to nickel and performed a nickel test on the purse because I developed a rash the night I used it. The metal portion indeed is made of nickel. Unfortunately, I was past the return date once I used the purse so I super glued it for future use. But since I'm allergic, not sure I should be using it at all. Beware if you're allergic to nickel!
