Review on 💄 Maybelline SuperStay 24 Keep It Red: Long-Lasting 2-Step Liquid Lipstick by Leah Jackson

This Maybelline Superstay 24 is one of my favorite liquid lip colors. It stays and stays and after eating pasta and everything else it still works after 12-18 hours. I usually apply color, but instead of the colorless balm that comes with the lipstick, I apply it over a matte lipstick of the same shade once the liquid is about to dry. It offers the same effect, keeping lips soft but adding a double dose of color that won't fade as it blends into liquid lip color. People always ask me how my lip color is still flawless after hours of application and eating, and the secret lies in that base coat. This is Keep up the Flame, a matte, cool red with a hint of pink. It works very well as a base for several iconic reds like MAC Russian Red, Urban Decay Bad Blood or NYX Perfect Red. Keep it Red is a true red with a warmer undertone that also makes a great base for shades like MAC Ruby Woo or Maybellines Ravishing Rouge 14 H Lipstick. Balm the night before to keep them smooth. Liquid lipstick should be applied to clean, dry, bare lips for maximum hold. Touching up the top coat with lipstick is a good idea to keep it bright and saturated. For the price I really like these colors and I think they last a bit longer than Covergirl's liquid lip colors.
