Nothing to say? Tons of bass, particularly articulate, which is very important at low frequencies. It is not difficult to handle despite the sensitivity of 84 and 6 ohms. It's not a "relaxed" sound to me. I was a bit worried because you have to pay $600 for a pair. Although even at $900/$1000/pair in the market I doubt I would go without these ELACs. They're a bit big; they are very easy to hear, the sound is pleasant, you don't need a subwoofer for music in a 12x12 room. I had monitors from Whaferdale Denton, Teac HR300, Kef Q150, Definitive Technology SM65, Fostex 5.0, Emotiva monitors, a. Elak's sound is better than everyone else's. A very happy owner. I run them with a NAD 326 Bee, an analog and very good built-in amplifier, and a TEAC CD player. My main setup is a Vincent SV500 Hybrid, an Audiolab CD player and a great Dali Opticon 6 with a QAcoustics Q12 subwoofer. ELAC reference, winner all along the line! Kind regards.
