Amazing speakers at any price

These speakers sound fantastic. I'm not an audiophile but after reading all the online reviews and youtube videos I took a chance and ordered it. and they blew me away. I have a Pioneer SX-780 45w receiver and these speakers make it sing. I have never heard speakers with such an amazing "3D" soundstage. Placed correctly (I pushed them further apart after taking the picture) they create an almost incredibly deep 3D effect. Couldn't be happier. Plus they are great and the stylish vintage design…

Pros
  • Like everything before

Great sound and looks with high WAF

I got them in black a few days ago. I've wanted them since I saw this Joe N Tell review. I got these as a replacement for my low WAF ELAC Uni-fi UB5s which I enjoy listening to. First thing I have to say is that these speakers look great and have a high WAF (Verbal Confirmed). Second, they sound great, a bit warmer than the UB5 and I love that. Third, they can handle the volume - my kids got frustrated because they couldn't hear their cartoon because of the vacuum cleaner. My daughter turns up…

Amazing sound from the speakers

Nothing to say? Tons of bass, particularly articulate, which is very important at low frequencies. It is not difficult to handle despite the sensitivity of 84 and 6 ohms. It's not a "relaxed" sound to me. I was a bit worried because you have to pay $600 for a pair. Although even at $900/$1000/pair in the market I doubt I would go without these ELACs. They're a bit big; they are very easy to hear, the sound is pleasant, you don't need a subwoofer for music in a 12x12 room. I had monitors from…

Great speakers!

I originally bought a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 2 to pair with my Marantz PM7000n. Although very detailed, they were on the plus side and tiring to listen to for hours, especially the vocals. After reading and watching a few YouTube reviews, I came across Elac and Andrew Jones, a couple I had never seen before. It quickly became apparent that Elac had given one of the top speaker designers "full latitude" to create huge killers and he did just that with the DBR62. What you get with the DBR62

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Almost everything is included

The new hi-fi standard

Exactly what I was looking for! In search of that special sound, I tried several amplifiers and several speakers. Polk s20 by Rp600m, klipsch 51m etc. They have a warmth and finesse that suits my Sprout 100 perfectly. They have amazing softness and warmth but are backed by some of the most powerful bass I've ever had. heard in a bookshelf speaker. Not to mention that these soft and pleasant sounds make a huge difference when you turn on the device. When unpacked, these things are heavy. The…
