Works well but may need a firmware update

When I received this camera it had terrible focus hold time. It was so bad that I found it unusable. I wrapped it up and wanted to send it back. However, I contacted support and it turned out that a firmware update was available. I installed it and the sharpness has improved. I changed my mind and kept it. It's a good camera and definitely worth considering in these times of COVID when we're all at home. The hardware design is very good. This seems significant. The built-in lens cover is smart. Status indicators on the front panel give clear information about the status. The microphones seem to work fine, I was only able to do a basic test. I'm not a fan of using a webcam mic on a webcam. I am using a headset. It's worth noting that it has a denser bezel than the Logitech C920. In other words, it's not that wide. I see some people like that fact, some don't. If you need a wide-angle lens, this may not be suitable. The photos show its size and you can see the small lid switch.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • weak
