Bought a set of light blonde sofas in need of serious maintenance. No success. I'm not a leather or restoration specialist, so I've done my best to "bleach" (not whiten) and stain as a last resort. After researching on the Internet, I decided on this brand based on customer reviews and some photos. Severity of abuse, I could not restore the original color. For this reason I chose a cognac color to try on the back of the sofa. The color is beautiful, applied straight from a small pan, but I wanted an authentic leather look rather than dyed. To give me the desired feel I was looking for, I mixed 1 tablespoon of wood stain with 1 tablespoon of water in a small bowl. I used the sponge applicator and moved in circles. With the addition of water the mixture actually went a long way and gave me a nice finish. My sofas are 96"L x 36"W - I ordered three cans total, applied two coats to cover both sofas and left half a can for future touch ups. Overall, I'm very happy with my end results. You can see a lot of reporting about problem areas and other people don't even know that these sofas are refurbished. 5 stars for quality, value and ease of use.
