Review on ☂️ Stay dry in style with the MRTLLOA Inverted Umbrella - Waterproof and Windproof by Kate Love

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everyone should have one!

The design of these "Inverted Umbrellas" is worth considering when you need a new umbrella. I drive and getting in and out is MUCH BETTER with this design than with a regular umbrella. This umbrella closes outwards to protect you from the collected rain and is operable so you don't get wet when you drag your wet umbrella into the car (as you often do with a regular umbrella). Because it falls on you when you open it, there's less chance of someone nearby getting caught when you pick it up. The third advantage is that when closed, it can stand freely at the ends. Because the umbrella consists of two layers of fabric (the outer structure is inside the open umbrella when closed), this umbrella offers extra support when it's windy. I've been in strong gusts of wind with this umbrella (enough to feel the wind rip the umbrella out of my hand) and the umbrella handled them with ease. The shape of the handle is also helpful. It can rotate around your wrist when carrying things on your chest, allowing you to maintain some control over the umbrella. And it's easy to store on a hook if it's not standing alone in a corner. This particular umbrella was well made, except for the velcro at the end of the strap that wraps around the umbrella when closed, which came loose due to the thread pulling. It looks like it didn't hit the sewing machine right and passed quality control. Otherwise it's an umbrella as good as mine. (I've had two other reversed designs and will never go back to the normal design. I gave the first to my daughter who didn't return it, then bought the second and subsequently lost the second. Neither were broken.) The only reason I... would choose an umbrella is a larger diameter. It's more than enough for one (or two walking close together), but if you want a wider one, I haven't seen more in this inverted umbrella design.
