Pretty Trash 12 month review

I wanted to love this umbrella. In fact, I loved it for about 12 uses. I loved that I could walk my dog with both hands (stopping to poop without wrestling with umbrella, leash, bag, bending over in the rain, etc.) by simply placing the handle on my wrist laid. Then the small metal spikes holding the umbrella material at the ends of each arm began to break. Upon closer inspection, these metal tips are incredibly thin and fragile. Truly built to break. NOT FOR PEOPLE with ARTHRITIS or other weaknesses in the hands, wrists or forearms

I have mild to moderate pain in my arms. This umbrella seems sturdy enough, but I couldn't find a comfortable way to hold it. It was heavy and put pressure on my fingers and wrists as I tried to grab the C-handle somewhere - at the base. it uncomfortably pinches my fingers and holding onto the high curve feels unbalanced. When I try to stay above the C I don't have enough girth to make the grip comfortable. I lose $6 trying to return a $16 umbrella so not worth returning. For reference, I am a…

Everyone should have one!

The design of these "Inverted Umbrellas" is worth considering when you need a new umbrella. I drive and getting in and out is MUCH BETTER with this design than with a regular umbrella. This umbrella closes outwards to protect you from the collected rain and is operable so you don't get wet when you drag your wet umbrella into the car (as you often do with a regular umbrella).
