These two pairs of speaker plates were a cheap alternative but the little money I saved wasn't worth the hassle. My main issue was that the included screws for attaching the terminal block to the junction box (I used Arlington LV mounting brackets) are too large in diameter. I had extra screws laying around and I compared and it wasn't my imagination. Because of this, and also because of the poor quality of the screw head, the head could easily be torn off during assembly. Like other reviewers, I found the connectors themselves to be too wobbly - they're not exactly manufactured to tight tolerances. Once installed, the lid fitted well and the end result looked good. FWIW, I have purchased several different wall plates (HDMI and 4 pair speaker jack) from Cable Matters as part of the same purchase and found them to be much better quality than the Monoprice version. I've had better luck with Monoprice in the past, but wouldn't buy them again.
