These shoes are very cute. I bought these after looking through a pair of neoprene water/pool shoes thinking we would use them for function. When they arrived they felt much more durable than the previous neoprene shoes and looked like little sneakers on the feet, so we started using them as regular summer shoes. However, pretty soon they were rubbing my baby's feet down to the blood on the inside above the arch of the foot. Feeling the fabric and mesh I don't feel any terrible roughness, but there is a seam at this point, so I'm assuming that with prolonged use and rubbing (probably from sweaty little feet) it managed to sew them clean rub. So now we're using them outside of the pool as pool shoes for a short time and they work great; I take them off as soon as it comes out and so far haven't had any issues with rubbing etc. Shame because they looked so good :) The only other issue I had was the mesh in the toe box which was already starting to look torn (we they haven't had any holes for a month now) but I'm not sure how they would hold up like real sneakers. My little friend was 19 months at the time of purchase so needless to say he is everywhere and rude. On the plus side they are cheap, lightweight, dry quickly and seem to fit well and are easy to put on and take off.
