I have a special needs great granddaughter, now 16, 103 lbs, wears teen sizes. She is in love with Frozen and has to wear leg braces even when she is wheelchair bound; These braces require knee-length socks. So since no one seems to think women can enjoy Frozen characters on their clothes I bought them because I read a comment that they are definitely for women and not kids. I beg to differ. She was so in love with the design that I opened them up, held my breath and let her wear them. They are tight, do not reach the lower leg and are not suitable for braces. Therefore, they are limited to days when braces are not required. The product looks good after a wash. But don't try to buy them for older girls.
