I've changed a lot of screens in my time. Bought a broken iPad to fix for a friend. The clip connecting the digitizer to the board was carefully placed to get that "click" when it snaps into place. After putting everything back together (before final sealing) I tested it. The digitizer did not respond to any touch. When I came back to investigate, I carefully removed the clip only to find that it had pulled tiny clips out of the connection on the motherboard. Very sad. A damaged iPad is now beyond repair. Bought second iPad. The same process, only this time gentler. When I'm putting everything together for testing, it's a good idea to hold the app as if you're deleting it and drag the app across the entire screen. There were four dead spots where the app left my finger and returned to that spot. Very disappointed with my purchase.
