Well, what can I say ? This utility knife is like comparing a fast sports car with my old station wagon, really. It's sad but true :). It takes a little bit more work replacing the blades with my old knife lets put it that way. This one also has a very nice ergonomic grip and feels a lot more sturdier as well. The bottom orange non-slip soft rubber feels really comfortable to hold with the little tail hook at the end for extra leverage with your pinky finger was a nice touch also. Not to mention a little area on top to store the 2 replacement blades too. The added rope cutter is also another nice and very convenient feature to have that is not on my old knife as well as the quick retract too. Although you may experience some stickiness with the 2-position manual stations at first, it should work fine after a few uses or slides in or out just like mine. Really glad I got this, will take the place of my old knife in my tool box from now on.
