I like these valve adapters and have bought several pairs - I don't like the valve adapters sold in bike shops. They are cheap, poorly made and often made of aluminum. The aluminum caps I bought are a real struggle to put the cap on as they are VERY cheap and the aluminum material is very low quality. The next problem to watch out for is that some valve adapters sold on the internet LOOK like they have threads but actually only have tabs to hold the tire pump head on the valve and nothing can be screwed onto it like a screw. B. a valve cover. you put on the valve of a car tire to prevent dust from entering the valve, which can "jam" the valve. I often go to the beach and want to protect the valve from windblown sand dust. They have quality thread and they work great! Incidentally, I have a good selection of chrome or stainless valve covers at the auto parts store and they go well with these adapters.
