Nice loose fit and very soft material. It's not exactly swimsuit-like material (which I don't like about a lot of UV protective garments) so it can pass for a long sleeve shirt and doesn't look like a rashguard. There is still a bit of stretch which gives more than the regular UV sport shirts I get. The small size fitted my slim 8 year old well, he was roomy and relaxed which is what he wanted for fall. The bright blue color holds up well to washing and the stitching doesn't seem to bother my child as he is picky. It has a few small/subtle logos on it, but overall it's simple and clean, making it easy to wear with any casual outdoor and sun protection clothing.
