6.5 months and they need to be replaced?

I bought a pair of these headphones in April 2020 (now November 1st) and they have lost sound from the right earbud. While that would make sense for cheap headphones you can buy from your local store, we expected a higher level of quality from a company that advertises their products as extremely durable. Yes, they're better than the cheap earbuds you can buy at Target or Best Buy, especially for the price, but it's been six and a half months and they already need to be replaced. We need to replace a pair of Go Groove headphones that we have owned for less than a year. The main reason we started buying the Go Groove was that we were tired of constantly going to our large local retail store every few months to have our headphones replaced. While it's nice that they offer a guarantee on these headphones, it's a bit of a process that requires you to use a third-party redemption service. Paying off an outsourced warranty can be financially beneficial when it comes to staff and inventory, but it's a bit of a hassle for customers, and Go Groove should start doing this in-house as soon as possible. I don't want to navigate the phone structure and fill out a bunch of paperwork to replace a $20 thing. Once our warranty on these earbuds has expired, we won't be buying Go Groove again until the company can fix their bugs. promises truly durable earbuds. If it costs us $5 for an item that lasts at least two years, we're more willing to pay that than $19 every 3/4 years and go through the lengthy process of paying off the warranty.
