Good Headphones - Sketchy WarrantyCaveat Emptor - Buyers Beware

Good Headphones - Sketchy WarrantyCaveat Emptor - Buyers Beware. These are good headphones. They are very heavy and perfect for teenagers who use them many hours a day. However, a "lifetime guarantee" is not very realistic. You must register your purchase on the manufacturer's website (not Revain) within 30 days or you will have no warranty. If you then need to make a claim, you have to do it through the manufacturer, making the process so cumbersome that most people just swear and give up. A…

It is what it advertises but the audio quality is below average.

Good qualities: They are as reliable as they say. I don't think they will break that easily. The included carrying case is pretty good and handy for storing a small adapter or two that you might need to take with you. Different sizes of silicone tips and accessories are good enough. Bad: No volume up/down button on the lavalier mic. Why? There is an answer button there, so volume up/down would be nice. As many have mentioned, a heavy cable can cause the headphones to fall out of your ears, but…

Arrived awkward and defective

First, mine were defective. The volume of the left earphone rises and falls right out of the box. It doesn't bother me too much that this issue is more than a one off unfortunate issue, I've had a few other even cheaper GOgroove headphones that have been fine. So I returned them for a refund. But the issue that will prevent me from ordering them again is that they were terribly uncomfortable in the ears, and while the bulky cable and headphone jack are necessary for durability, they claim to be

Pros
  • There's something in it
Cons
  • Weak set

I'm not sure if I received these headphones with a bug or a feature but they are unusable. A strange problem arose right out of the box. When the microphone was touched (with fingers or when it touched the ear, etc.) the media player on the phone changed. This sometimes caused the sound to stop and resume when touched again. In other cases, the volume is increased or decreased. I got these headphones for my son for Christmas and they behaved the same way on his phone. We have a phone of the…

Lasted 20 months in earphones

I have owned these for their entire life cycle and they are not my favorite headphones. Purchased: March 26, 2016 Left earpiece Died: December 7, 2017 (20 months) Pros: Sound quality is decent. The case is pleasant. All cords are made of nice and heavy rubber material and don't get tangled easily. Cons: Small pieces of paper covering the sound chambers come off easily and are difficult to track. The placement of the mic on the left earcup is odd, and wrapping the headphone cord around your ear…

6.5 months and they need to be replaced?

I bought a pair of these headphones in April 2020 (now November 1st) and they have lost sound from the right earbud. While that would make sense for cheap headphones you can buy from your local store, we expected a higher level of quality from a company that advertises their products as extremely durable. Yes, they're better than the cheap earbuds you can buy at Target or Best Buy, especially for the price, but it's been six and a half months and they already need to be replaced. We need to…
