I'm not sure if I received these headphones with a bug or a feature but they are unusable. A strange problem arose right out of the box. When the microphone was touched (with fingers or when it touched the ear, etc.) the media player on the phone changed. This sometimes caused the sound to stop and resume when touched again. In other cases, the volume is increased or decreased. I got these headphones for my son for Christmas and they behaved the same way on his phone. We have a phone of the same model (Moto G5 Plus), so maybe this only happens to us. We weren't sure if it was some kind of interactive control feature. However, my son is pretty good with Android and he couldn't get him to stop using it. I was able to reduce the frequency of the problem by covering the microphone with masking tape. I bought this item because I was looking for headphones that are more durable than the cheap brands I've bought in the past. These headphones seem to be more reliable. The wire is thicker and the part where it enters each bud is reinforced. However, the sound quality is only mediocre. The sound is better than the $5 headphones I've bought, but I've bought $10 sets that sound better than these. If these headphones didn't have a weird issue, I'd probably be happy with them.
