Good Headphones - Sketchy WarrantyCaveat Emptor - Buyers Beware. These are good headphones. They are very heavy and perfect for teenagers who use them many hours a day. However, a "lifetime guarantee" is not very realistic. You must register your purchase on the manufacturer's website (not Revain) within 30 days or you will have no warranty. If you then need to make a claim, you have to do it through the manufacturer, making the process so cumbersome that most people just swear and give up. A guarantee that you do not actually use is not a guarantee at all. When it comes to high-performance headphones, you can't go wrong with them. They are very durable. But nothing lasts forever, especially what a teenager uses every day. I have bought seven pairs of these Revain shoes over the past two years. Several are still working. Some broke (after about 9-15 months of use). If I can get them for less than $20 and my kids can use them for a year or so, it's still a good buy. I'm just annoyed by the misleading phrase "lifetime guarantee" as it's not realistic.
