Received this after seeing a much more expensive safety pistol light kit from another manufacturer at a home and garden show. This kit is much cheaper - 1/3 cheaper. has a 6th light trail (compared to 5 on the other) and a motion detector - which the other didn't have. It was easy to install with the help of my 15 year old son. Be sure to wipe the mounting surfaces well with alcohol to remove grease and dirt. I had already drilled a small hole for the electric dehumidifier bar, so I just converted that plug into an outlet, added a 3-way splitter, and connected the dehumidifier and this light kit to 1 wire in the safe. Make sure you have strong Gorilla/T-Rex tape to hide the power cord connectors. We put our lights on the inside of the door frame - they shine inwards - but you can put them on the back - but then the light will shine in your face. Overall excellent! The motion sensor is a bit fiddly, but it works. I'd probably recommend just turning the power on and off and saving a few bucks.
