Received this after seeing a much more expensive safety pistol light kit from another manufacturer at a home and garden show. This kit is much cheaper - 1/3 cheaper. has a 6th light trail (compared to 5 on the other) and a motion detector - which the other didn't have. This light is great for a safe. The sensor works like a charm and every time you open the door they light up quickly. The supplied 3M adhesive tape also sticks perfectly to the safe; I have friends who bought 3M tapes from other brands and had to buy their own. This lamp is ideal for safe weapon lighting. I installed it on a 28 gun Winchester safe from Tractor Supply. It comes with 6 hard light strips and 6 extensions. I fitted this to my Liberty Colonial 30 safe and am very happy with it. This kit is less than half the price of the Liberty Safe brand light kit. Bought two of these motion detection kits to fix my Liberty 50 pistol and a small safe in the closet. After modeling one set in my large safe and not noticing any difference with the lights on, I hooked up another set to see what was wrong with them, but they are identical. Very good light set. I've been messing around with a few battery powered devices that were basically just LED lights on a strip and they didn't hold up very well, weren't at the right angle, and didn't detect movement very well. This set was easy to install and turns on when I open the door. I bought this lamp to add cabinet lighting to our kitchen and it met that need. Items are well packaged, duct tape works VERY well (wipe down cabinets with rubbing alcohol first), in fact once taped it will take a hell of a long time to move.
