This lamp is ideal for safe weapon lighting. I installed it on a 28 gun Winchester safe from Tractor Supply. It comes with 6 hard light strips and 6 extensions. The motion detector is mounted on the side wall and can supply power to two rows of lights. I connected all six poles to one of the two power cords. The Safe Winchester has a metal edge on both sides behind the front bar, perfect for 3m tape. The poles are angled so they can be installed from two ends, use an edge, or attach using screw holes in the pole. There are 2 bars installed on both sides, one on top and one on bottom. Everything is hidden behind the leading edge. Cables can be bundled and hidden behind the front edge. I saw a review that recommended wrapping the incoming power cord in a gray rug. I have yet to do it. The motion detector detects perfectly when the door is open. I think he leaves the light on for about 10 minutes. Extension cords can be used between the grids or routed to a rack. Completely modular. Bright light and good daylight color. I highly recommend this gun safe kit.
