This light is great for a safe. The sensor works like a charm and every time you open the door they light up quickly. The supplied 3M adhesive tape also sticks perfectly to the safe; I have friends who bought 3M tapes from other brands and had to buy their own. Tip for the Liberty Centurion 24 (see image for reference): You can place 1 on top, 1 on bottom and 2 on each side. For the bottom and top, it's easy: you can just put them right in the middle of your safe. The sides are your choice. If you get stuck under the top shelf, they'll all light up except for one under the top shelf. So what I did, on the left side I put both under the shelf (so both side glue can stick) and on the right side, one has both glues on it and the other is only on the back since I went through the shelf so that there was light everywhere (he sits higher than on the left). That works great! For the sensor, I placed knee-deep between the door and the shelf at a 90-degree angle. In any case, this is a direct wire to the outlet. I hope it helps!
