Good aluminum frame, vents. I had to be careful when installing the fans or the bracket could hit the bottom of my laptop, but they still work. I don't run the fans often as I don't need it, but when I hear my normal fan running a lot, I turn on the CPUID HWMonitor and of course the temperature will be high. I plug the fans in (to a remote USB power supply, not the laptop (because it already has it. I ran it off the laptop with no problems) and the temperature dropped immediately. I've had multiple instances of the overheating and freezing Systems.. but since then there have been none since I've been using it, you can definitely hear the fans when they're running and I had to trim a blade a bit in place but overall it's pretty quiet and works well.. I say, that it looks nice (i.e. well made), that it looks nice, but it's actually hidden and I can't see it, so it doesn't really matter.
