I couldn't use it because my .

The canister filter tubes were larger and didn't want to make an adapter as I was concerned it would increase the pressure in my canister filter but it seems like a well made diffuser. At the moment I don't know if they make this diffuser for larger pipes but without using an adapter. This would be unwise and would impede the much needed free flow of water in and out of the diffuser.
