Review on Sanuk Pair-Of-Dice Slip-On Shoes by Claudia Corpus

What happened to the cushy sole?!

I've found, for me, when you find a Sanuk you like and it fits well it becomes an instant favorite. Sometimes with different styles the fit and sizing can become a bit of a guessing game, so if possible I always try to order a couple sizes to try on side by side and go from there. These "pair o dice" I had never tried before, but I had to just pick one size this time, so went with my usual size 7 shoe size and was so happy that these arrived and fit perfectly! I liked the style, and found it a comfortable fit, BUT . the disappointing thing is that it really doesn't have the thick cushy sole that is what I love the most about this brand :( I'm keeping the shoes for just casual use, like errands or short trips out and about because I like them well enough, but even just going on a short walk it became instantly apparent that they can't even hold a candle to the hours and miles of walkability I've gotten from my older Sanuks. So, I don't know if it's just this style, or if Sanuk soles in general have cheapened. My old worn out Teva flip flops have more cushion than these. Bottom line, they're good cute, comfy shoes for just around town. I like these Sanuks well enough, but I won't be seeking out this brand anymore. The cushy sole that could last a summertime of adventures just isn't there. Darn it!
