I really like these; they are stunning and shiny and go great with my decor. The only problem is both times I have received them, they had been damaged- through no fault of the packaging (packaging was stellar). The felt bottoms of the queen and knight had fallen off (which would be easy enough to remedy) but the king was covered in scratches that marred the shine of the piece. When I attempted to return it, I tried to exchange it but when I said that it was damaged, it only allowed for a refund. I liked this product so much, I immediately re-bought the set. However, I have encounter the same issues. Both the felt bottoms of the knight and queen have fallen out and the king is damaged. It is not scratched but there are chunks missing from the piece. Nothing huge or damaging to the structure of the piece, but still obvious a few feet away to those with 20/20 vision and a pension for being picky. I do not want to exchange it again because of the consistent failings of the king but I felt I should warn others. I like these pieces enough to keep them but I am not overly thrilled (as the other reviewers seem to be). I have decided to put the king on the highest shelf of my bookcase so no one will see he is damaged. The others two are gorgeous- I just popped the felt bottoms back on. They aren't going anywhere.
