I installed the monitor on my 2016 Nissan Frontier which was upgraded from a 4.3 inch monitor which is 7 inches important when parking. I hooked it up to the same harness as the 4.3. I had to order a DC pigtail to connect the power cable from the rear camera. Power is provided by a backup light source for the camera and monitor. I had an issue with no video on V2 until I connected the shutter release cable. It took a long time to show the video when the reversal was chosen. I emailed Huinetul and received a reply the same day (the email address is in the manual). They told me what to try, I did. It still took a long time to come, after about 3 emails I checked all my connections and found a bad disconnect plug, used a very small wire nut to fix it. The monitor now turns on when it should. When connecting to reversing lights with only one camera, no trigger cable is required. Huinetul replied to all 3 emails I sent them in a day or less. Couldn't have asked for better, they were very helpful.
