You may want to buy one size up. The thigh area was my main problem. I had to push my hips into this dress and it felt like it would open at the zipper, but it didn't because the fabric is strong, including the zipper. If you have wide hips, buy one size larger. I got a medium that was tight on the thighs. My hips would be more appropriate if big, but my height definitely fits well with this medium size. So if you have a squirt in a larger size, be sure to purchase one size up. Please note that the fabric does not stretch at all but looks nice.
