Perfect for a full multi-brush car wash! I like to think I take great care of my 2014 GMC Sierra SLT. I take it to the dealer whenever I have a problem and I get a gold part with all my oil changes too. When they built a car wash with brushes, I had to try. Well after several very successful washes that looked great I heard rumors of some antenna incidents. I asked a friend who has a 2017, the same as mine and he said that not only did he take the antenna but he snapped the filament at the base! I looked and bought! I've heard that anything shorter can offer less reception and as I listen to some local stations I knew I couldn't get shorter ones. It works great, looks great and I haven't had a single problem since installing it! A bit of confusion because the foot of my antenna starts unthreaded at the top and then has a thread at the bottom. All I saw was threads in the new antenna, but it still worked! Would recommend to anyone for any reason! Highly recommended for anyone using full brush car washes!
